Don't Hesitate
Everything I’ve ever done that was worthwhile in my life, I just did it.
I didn’t think too hard about it, I trusted my gut, and answered Life with a YES.
When I was in high school my friends and I would pile into the car and take off to some unknown location in the middle of the night just to see the sunrise somewhere new. I moved 11 hours away from home for college after only ever being in that state one time because my heart was calling me closer to the ocean. I got hired on the spot days before I graduated college for a job that I had no qualifications for but agreed to learning as I went. Then I got married and moved my life abroad to a little island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Now I’ve started multiple of my own businesses with no prior experience because I am up for the challenge of letting Life be my leader and teacher into expansion.
I was scared, but I put my fears aside.
I had a lot on the line, but I put what I could lose aside.
I didn't know what I was doing, but I put my insecurities aside.
Instead I focused on what I was going to learn, what I was going to gain in experience, and how I was going to become more myself and more of who I am meant to be.
You can sit and mull over your dreams, ideas, opportunities, fears, and insecurities all day long, all life long.
But nothing will change until you take that leap.
I recently got the words “don’t hesitate” tattooed on my wrist to remind me that the leap into living a heart-led life is always worth taking.
All you have to do to take the leap is... just do it. It sounds simple and that’s because it is.
You know what you’re not doing, you know what is keeping you stuck.
Being that fully expressed version of you & taking those leaps of faith will make your life a whole lot more worthwhile.
And I don’t know about you, but I believe living whatever your version of a worthwhile life is the only reason you’re here.
